Bogota Airport Terminal 2

Bogota Airport Terminal 2, also known as Puente Aéreo or TPA, was undertake in 1981 by Avianca with the original goal to offer flights to several Colombian destinations (Medellin and Cali) and to New York City and Miami. 

Before underwent to major upgrading and improvements in 2006, Avianca moved the international flights to Terminal 1. Nowadays, it is considered as one of the most important airport terminals of Colombia.

It is located 1 km away from Terminal 1. 

Terminal 2 hosts over 18 domestic destinations within Colombia. It is also the main hub for Avianca, Copa Airlines Colombia, Satena, EasyFly and LATAM airlines. 

Transport between terminals

You can easily transfer between terminals by a satellite free bus. Opening hours: From 5:00 am to 11:00 pm, every 20 minutes.


Bogota Airport Terminal 2 is a single floor terminal since it is the private Avianca terminal and for its partners.

Terminal 2 is divided into different sectors:

- Check-in sector: Find it right after getting into the terminal building. It is home of Avianca check-in desks as well as boarding gates. The following services are available in Terminal 2: Toilets, parents room, public telephones, Colombian Civil Aeronautics Office and ground transportation options outside the building. There is also a parking lot facing the terminal.

- Baggage Delivery Area: On the right hand of the terminal you can find the baggage delivery area. You can access by the pier hall. 

- Boarding Area: On the north central part of the terminal there are the domestic piers. You can transfer by bus to the piers once at the connection module. Find here a food court and several retail stores.


Avianca is the single airline which offers service in Terminal 2 of Bogota Airport.
