Bogota Airport Bus

Bus is the safest and cheapest way to move from Bogota Airport to city centre and also the most used way of transport by locals. 

Find the following options from Bogota Airport:

TRANSMILENIO

It is the bus rapid transit (BRT) system. It takes you to Bogota city centre. 

To use a Transmilenio bus line you need to take the Alimentador (feeder) first, from any of the two airport terminals. It is called Ruta Alimentadora 16-14 Aeropuerto.

The Feeder is a free green bus that links the airport with where Transmilenio buses are located, "Estacion de El Dorado". 

Service hours: From 05:00am to 11:45pm (Monday to Saturday), from 06:00am to 10:45pm (Sundays and public holidays).

Once at Portal Eldorado station, you may need to use a Tullave card in order to pick any of Transmilenio buses.

Also, K86 Transmilenio line (Aeropuerto el Dorado – Fundación Santa Fe) can also bring you to city centre, since it is a dual bus line – that means you can take a Feeder to Portal Eldorado.

Opening hours: From 05:30am to 11:00pm (Monday to Friday), from 06:00am to 11:00pm (Saturday), and from 07:00am to 10:00pm (Sunday and public holidays).

Location

Find the Feeder in front of any of the two terminals.

Transmilenio buses are located in Portal Eldorado station, which is located outside the Airport premises.

Fares

The Feeder is free of charge, while the Transmilenio cost for a single ride to the city centre is of COP 2,400.

Where can I buy my ticket?

You can buy your ticket before getting into Portal Eldorado station. The payment method for this bus line is by Tullave card. 

Tullave card can be purchase in the SITP counters in the Arrivals Hall. 

Public Transport

Urban Route P500

P500 bus line (Aeropuerto El Dorado – Centro Andino), links Bogota Airport terminals and the city centre.

Opening hours: From 04:00am to 11:00pm (Monday to Saturday), and from 05:00am to 10:00pm (Sunday and public holidays). 

Location

Ride this bus line outside the first level of Terminal 1, in exit 7. 

Fares

The payment method for this bus line is by Tullave card.

Public Transport buses “Busetas”

You can take one of the several public transport lines that joints Bogota Airport with several destinations in the city centre. There are buses and mini buses. 

Opening hours: From 06:00am to 08:00pm. 

Location

You can ride them outside the first level of Terminal 1, in exit 9, they stop at Paradero (bus stop). 

Fares

For further information regarding fares, ask to the driver.

Ticket also need to be purchased on board. Only cash allowed.

Ruta Alimentadora

The schedule of these routes that goes directly to your destination is from:  Monday to Saturday from 05:00 - 22:45, Sunday and festivities 06:00 - 21:45. For more information regarding these, please ask at the information desk. 

Location

Terminal 1, Floor 1, Exit 6.
This route has no cost. 

Hotel buses 

Some hotels provide transfer service to their customers to and from Bogota Airport.

It is better to check first with the hotel to know if they provide the service.
